I've moved, again ~ but this time, things have changed. A lot. Mostly because I've had a lot of things change in my life - and while making those changes, I changed, too.
While this website looks a lot like the old one, it's different than before. I simply kept what worked well for me: the PHP, the navigation bar on the left, the structure of the site. I changed the colours, because this is not my old haven for Elves only anymore.
This site is what I've been dreaming about ever since I stopped restricting myself to the LotR fandom. It's for all the wonderful things I've been wanting to share with you. In a way, this new site is a bit more me.
Finally, I'll be able to show you more than just pointy ears and robes. This site will continue to grow with me ~ I've attempted to design it in a way that allows growth in all sorts of possible other directions. I don't know yet where it'll lead me, but I'd love to invite you to make this journey with me.
Like the old site, it will mostly be an art site. That's because I'm an artsy person, and I rarely go anywhere without my pencils and sketchbooks... So for the moment, it's my galleries and a few other random things. Who knows what will be added later?
A few things should go without saying, but I'll mention them anyway: DO NOT steal or hotlink my art. It wouldn't sit well with me. Likewise, I don't want any of my pictures posted anywhere but here, on my own site. Linking to my site is fine. And if you absolutely have to save some of the pictures to your computer, you may do so for your private use only.
If you have questions, ask. I don't bite. Oh and help, like reporting broken links or suggestions about how to improve this site, is always appreciated. Just send me a quick e-mail or drop me a line in the guestbook.
Last but not least, none of this would be possible without the amazing and generous help from a very dear friend. A wise, funny, absolutely lovely person I would not have met without the internet or my art. I'm eternally grateful to have her in my life ~ and she'll never cease to inspire me. This site is dedicated to her, and to all the wonderful people on the net who gave me the courage and will to follow through and allowed me to arrive where I am now: Living no day of my life without a line - an outline for the day, a lifeline for dark times, and lots of lines in my sketchbook.
Thank you!
