This drawing is purely fanon - not quite an illustration, more of an accompanying drawing to Master Erestor's alternative universe. In one of her stories, Thranduil gives three crows to Elrond, who gives them to Erestor in the end. Erestor, constantly at war with a certain Balrog slayer, names the three birds Glorfinkle, Garfindel and Glorfunkle. Here, he can be seen feeding them.

The hardest part was drawing the birds. I can't draw animals to save my life, mostly because the skeletons are not familiar, I can't construct the bodies from memory - and frankly, fur and feathers are hell to draw! I spent days trying to take pictures of birds, searched the internet for useful photos... and finally came up with this:
