"Nellas of Doriath", G

"Nellas of Doriath" was my nom de plume from the moment I started sharing my art in the fandom. I didn't know anything about her - there isn't much in the Silm in the first place, but somehow there was no "Nellas" in the fandom yet and the name just stuck. It has been following me around, and I've already been told that I'll be stuck with it for the rest of my existence. *g*

Funny thing about it, I never roleplayed Nellas anywhere, nor inserted her or focused on her. There are three or four drawings of her, and none of them is to be taken too seriously. This is me trying to figure out who that little woodelf is and what she might have looked like... It's not me, it's a muse who's been kind enough to lend me her name ~ maybe she speaks to me, but her whispers are so low I'm not aware of them most of the time.

But I'm happy with all that, because she's no beautiful, shining Elf lady, or important character. She loved nature, lived in the woods and refused to come to the King's court, taught the human Tuor the Elvish language and tried to guide and protect him. I think that's a noble enough way of life - and I shall try not to dishonour her name by using it. :)
