Flying Daggers (Chinese Warrior)

Inspired (and drawn from the memory of) the Chinese movie "House of Flying Daggers". I was still learning how to deal with watercolours and how to mix different techniques, so the colours are too bright and the shading on the clothing is off ~ but only practice makes perfect.
Also, the history and culture of China and Japan have always fascinated me, and the movies with their lavish costumes and beautiful images are a wonderful (if not very realistic) way of indulging my various obsessions...
