One of the two illustrations I contributed to the 15^th issue of ForbiddenFruit. A beautiful and sweet story that really spoke to me from the first line - picturing the characters and their surroundings wasn't a problem. I played around with a few ideas before settling on this tender moment.

And of course, I was more than delighted when the author of the story mailed me to tell me that she really loved what I had done with the illustration and that I had gotten all the little details just right! :) Those are the moments an illustrator lives for...
