A project that I had in mind ever since I started doing portraits of fandom characters, I revisited the portraits I made earlier on brown paper for this. Working with ink and nibs can be fun, as long as the nib doesn't scratch and tear the paper too much and the ink isn't bleeding into the paper fibers... Clearly working with historically correct art supplies is a challenge!

This is one of the rare instances where I actually used screencaps as reference... though the longer I look at it, the harder I have to look for any resemblance with the actors who portray those two characters. Guess I'm not that talented a portrait artist after all...

Either way, they turned out nicely, and gave me a few ideas for other artworks, so they are worth sharing here. :)
